Hey all,
I've just switched to Ubuntu and I'm looking for opinions and advice on a media player to replace J River Media Player 12 (which I was using on Windows). Basically I need something which:
Plays music (dur)
Can handle a fairly large media library with a nice GUI (I don't mind medium level coding to achieve this)
Supports USB remotes (not absolutely essential)
Preferably has or can be configured to have a Theatre Mode or similar
Has decent album art and tagging support
Either has audio output control integrated or can work with it
Does anyone know of any amazing programs that could do this? I briefly played around with foobar2000 on Windows, and I liked how customisable that was... any experiences or guides to share?
Much appreciated.
