Iv serached this forum for anything releating to my problem but found nothing
my sound output sounds like crap. Its sratchy unclear, i have no idea why. can someone help me figure how to get my sound to sound clear. and the speakers are fine..

Which application is this? Try opening up a terminal window and type "sudo killall esd". Anyway I found out I hate ESD. So (going from memory here), From the Gnome Menu, System->Preferences->Sound, uncheck start sound server, and that will disable ESD. You will lose system sounds playing at the same time as you music...no big loss IMHO.

anytpe of sound appliactions sounds the same games,music, videos anything wiht sound..
That didnt help, it still sounds the same. After hearing it some more i think it sounds mono or maybe distorted, basically sound is not clear..
and to double chekc i connected my md player to the speakers and it sounds crystal clear..
