You mean you can use mac style themes w/o firefox coming to a crawl? They all unusable for me.

haha, im using the milks themes, and went looking for the firefox themes also. i think 'whiteheart' works good, with 'use small icons'. what do you think?
edit...
assuming milk is refering to your gnome themes, and smoke for firefox theme??? if so what version of firefox are you running, isnt smoke for pre 1.0 firefox?

Hi Rachii, thank you for your suggestion, I will try white heart. Yes, I mean Milk 2.1 and MilkySmooth are my Gnome (not Mac) themes and Smoke is my Firefox theme. I use Firefox 1.04. At the mozilla page, as you said, there is only the pre 1.0 firefox Smoke theme, but for those using a later firefox version there is a link to the designer webpage, where you can download the latest version. I'll give you the link. It looks really good, but just the icons are kinda different from the Gnome theme's icons:

Also I would suggest an older version of Saferfox Xpanded, for example 2.3.1, which, in my opinion, looks better than the latest v. 3.1.0:

Also two Lynchknot themes, "tundra" and "Re-evolution-B" looks pretty good with Milk gnome themes, just not my personal taste:
