linux file systems..

Even thought I'm newbie to linux, I heard about the term 'file system' so many times, So I wanna look into detail of linux file systems like ext2 ext3 raisefs or something.. or inodes that kind of things..
Is there any well explained documentation.. how it works and how it looks like..?
