ofcourse we do

the problem is in emerald try reinstalling. if that does not work then remove all of beryl and emerald and read the guide to proper installation on the beryl wiki

the instention was for you to reinstall.

what is happening is your windows are using an invalid window manager. install beryl manager

run it and click the gem so you get the drop down menu

go to the item about window borders and select gtk theme or something other than what you have now.

then go to the beryl wiki and follow the feisty install guide word for word.

Ok ive decided to take what seems like the smartest route
Ive just did a clean install
Ubuntu 7.0.4 amd64 since i have a core2duo

Ubuntu has detected my vidoe cards and suggested i enable the drivers
so i enabled them and rebooted.

now ill just go to beryl webite and read the wiki

Im a complete newb to any linux so im not used to installing things

now when i see places where i can copy and paste text into terminal im all over that! lol
