Hi,

I'm planning to implement a "news" pages on an already existing website, to hold a summary of every latest event. The page should be updated quite often, so I was wondering if someone knows some helpful php-classes or perhaps a complete online editing-suite to output the news in a very clean way (date - title -link -summary). A built-in automated RSS feeds generator would also be appreciated.

Thanks for help,

qwerkus

Sounds like you might be able to tailor a Wordpress theme to your liking. http://www.wordpress.org

I use it for my site (check out the cat /dev/life link) and should give you what you need, if not too much :)

I though about it, but when I saw the amount of code written by the WordPress team, i first tried to find out some stand-alone classes without the *heavy* template-theme structure.
Looks like I'll have to digg it tonight ...

Thanks for replying;

PS: nice blog and nice title

I'm not sure if this is what your looking for, but I use this on my site to generate rss feeds.
