HI GUYS, I AM NEW TO LINUX, WELL HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR FEW MONTHS, INSTALLED IT QUITE FEW TIME, PLAYED AROUND ALOT AND LEARNT ALOT. PROBLEM I AM HAVING IS I TRIED TO MOUNT MY PSP BUT IT WONT WORK, I USE TO MOUNT MY SAMSUNG I300 WHICH USES MASS STORAGE FORMULA USED TO MOUND FOR FEW MINS UNDER TFAT FOLDERS OR SOMETHING BUT THAT NOT HAPPENING NOW.

I SEARCHED UBUNTU, LINUX, PSP FORUMS AND GOOGLED ALOT. I FOLLWED AND DIDT LOADS OF STUFF (I JUST COPY AND PASTE COMANDS IN TERMINAL WITH OUT KNOWING WHAT THEY MEAN).

like these

mount -t vfat /dev/sda /mnt/psp/
but i get this
mount: special device /dev/sda does not exist

CHANGED MY FSTAB FILES LOADS .. NOW IT LOOKS LIKE THIS..
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.

please don't shout, it's not going to get your question answered any faster (if anything people won't even bother to read your message). it looks like from dmesg that it is causing a bunch of errors.

try this out:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=58380

EDIT: Also, this thread isn't even in the right section, so that might hurt your chances of getting your questions answered even further

hey, no worries :)
well, normally you should have posted in "Hardware and laptops" or "Gaming and leisure".
I'm not much help cuz I don't have a PSP. but from your dmesg it doesn't look like it is recognizing the PSP right. You might make a new post in those sections showing the output from
dmesg | tail
and ask how to get ubuntu to recognize the PSP. Good luck!
