why does ubuntustudio not include Cinerella?
A friend of mine is used to adobe permiere and he thinks PiTivi is just a toy. Is it easy to install Cinerella? It isn't in the repository though.

Hei,
There are a few licensing issues with cinerella, so until they are worked out the package has been deferred.
See:

In the mean time, for those wanting a quick way to install Cinelerra, there is a 3rd party repository for Cinelerra for feisty. See this page (http://cvs.cinelerra.org/getting_cinelerra.php) for more info.
