Because the PowerPC is not currently an "official" base for Ubuntu, most of the sources have removed the PPC disks. The is one "nightly build" from mid April (just before the official release of 7.04) that I found. the url is <http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/feisty/release>. From there you can choose which CD to download. "Worked for me."

I found the cd image to download, ppc is not supported by Ubuntu anymore,

Ubuntu should continue to officially support The PPC platform, stores are still selling ppc based macs new

Luckily the community released a ppc version, but it is not supported by Ubuntu.

I still find OS X to run best on ppc macs,

as flash is not supported for ppc

The community did not release a PowerPC version. Canonical did! They have moved it to the 'ports' section of their other distributions. This means it a 'use at own risk' non-supported version of Ubuntu. But there is plenty of community support here.

Canonical is still providing the software and updates for PowerPC, just not paid commercial support.

Flash IS supported for PowerPC Linux, just not Adobe Flash. :) See the PowerPCFAQs at the link below. Gnash will have flash video playback in the browser very soon.
