LiveCD

Just wondering....
I'm not a PPC user, but one of my friends is, and he wants to try linux. I decided on Ubuntu, for him,
since it supports PPC and is just the best distro on the planet. :P

He doesn't want to risk breaking his HD, so my question is:

Is the desktop CD for PPC also a LiveCD? If not, is there a liveCD?

Yes it is a LiveCD.

Before installing, i would recommend seeing the PPC FAQ, there is useful information on the status of the PPC port. (for some use cases it works really great, for others not so)
