I have been trying to install this game all morning - a lot of people say it is an easy one, but so far I've had no luck. I am running Wine 0.9.36, in Ubuntu Edgy. I have tried the Loki installer, and had the experience a lot of others report - it crashes as you start the first level. I can't even get that far trying to install it in Wine. As soon as I run Setup.exe, the windows screen comes up fine, and it starts the installation - but as soon as you get to the first wizard screen, and hit the "Next" button, everything freezes - you have to ctl-alt-bksp to reboot. Every body tells me it should install just fine in Wine, but that's all that happens. The console shows an error: "0x800004002 - err:ole:marshal.object doesn't expose interface."

Anybody got any suggestions?:confused:

Update: Got it to install & run: used the Loki installer, then swapped the exe file for a cracked NoCD version. Now it plays, graphics beautiful, framerate good, even the sound is ok - a little rough, but in sych. The only two things: The mouse is acting really weird - t will only scan a 90 degree arc - I have to use the L/R arrows to tuen any more than that - and now that I am in the Forest of Doors, I can't seem to save any more. In fact, the whole save/load/delete screen doesn't seem to be working right. I guess Wine is a work in progress, but I'm hoping somebody will see this who has dealt with these problems.
