Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone knows any really good 2d or 3d (Preferably 2d but either is good) RPG's out there that are written for Linux? Or even any free ones that I can run through wine.

Battle for Wesnoth is like electronic heroin. It's really more RTS but with some RPG influences.

Here's a list. Many of these will be available through add/remove or synaptic.

I have an intense love for S.C.O.U.R.G.E.

and Regnum -- which is an MMO.

I personally like Dofus (http://www.dofus.com) and am very much looking forward to Wakfu (http://wakfu.com/en/).

Both MMOs but I still consider them to be RPGs.

you could search http://www.ohloh.net/

it's a guide to find open source programs.

or search sourceforge.net
