Love the upgrade script I'm using fesity for a while and was contemplating a re install so as to pop the CE version on until I came across ur little script.......Just what I needed.
Cheers for all the work that must have gone into it
A little feedback though if I may - for those who might want to use it
Pros - seemlessly upgrades to feisty CE also gives a nicer start menu ICON:popcorn: that's one of the most important things:popcorn:
It wipes ur bookmarks, history, and themes -- bad juju - how this is christian i'm not sure maybe it's sposed to be the same as the way the blood of Jesus wipes away our sins:)
oh yes and how do I get rid of virtual rosary ---- i'm a protestant:)
As always appreciate the work that has gone into this version more than you could imagine

As for getting rid of the virtual rosary (I'm with you on that. :)) I just delete it from the script so it never gets installed. Open up System -> Synaptic and then search virtual rosary and then remove. If it doesn't show up in there (I'm not sure how it is registered in the system) You could just right click on the start button, and select edit menus. Then click on Accessories, then uncheck the virtual rosary, that will at least remove it from your menu listings. Let me know if it is there in the synaptic listings.

Edit: I think Jereme is working on options so that you can choose to keep those settings in the new script. I was thinking that he already updated them, or maybe they make backups or something. I read that somewhere. It is a very nice script though and runs very well. I love the art work, and having Christian Ubuntu on the boot up screen!

Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback.
I have updated the convert_me script to make backups of your personal settings. You can find out more here.

If you want to remove the Virtual Rosary you can simpy use Synaptic.
God Bless, Jereme
