Wubi installs, Doesn't Startup

It installed everything OK, but when i boot ubuntu up everything goes fine until I get a blank screen for a few seconds then a screen of random coloured vertical lines. Any ideas as to why? Video problems?

If the installation has aborted/failed during the actual ubuntu install, you new to run wubi again and start a fresh install from windows.
If the ubuntu install completed (blue and grey text screen with a progress bar, takes from 10 minutes to 1 hour) and rebooted itself you have a problem with xorg.
Can you post here the content of wubi/logs and the more relevant details about your configuration you can think of ?
