Has anyone had luck running Apprentice on Wine?

It has a gold rating on the AppDB, but whenever I try and run the binary installer, it throws exceptions, and when I try and run the binary on my mounted windows partition, it gives me errors whenever I load a deck (adress violation , IIRCC)

I haven't tried to run apprentice myself, though I'd be interested in it if it did. I run Magic Workstation on wine just fine. MWSPlay works as well, though font issues prevent you from seeing anything on the game board. Supposedly there's a hacked up version somewhere that fixes that, but I haven't been able to find it.
