cod 2 wine low fps

High, i've installed cod 2 on wine and winehq says it should run fine but i have some problems running it... the fps is really low (even in the main menu) and single player won't even start. does somebody have the same problems like me or does anyone know how to fix it? thx in advance


some info about my system:

cpu: amd 64 4000+ single core
gpu: nvidia geforce 6800
mem: 1gb
os: ubuntu edgy eft
wine version: wine-0.9.36

i got it working now i had to disable alsa for this but now i don't have any sound... does somebody know how to make sound without using alsa... also when i got shellshocked the game crashes to desktop...

even with sound working there is a delay which is a PITA. shellshock WAS fixed by using 0.9.34+Mirek's patch (link is in one of the additional comments in the test data on the appdb page). Single player doesn't work, original exe has a copy protection error. cracked exe gives me a MSS(Miles Sound System) error. From the screenshots someone has gotten SP to work but they haven't said how I don't think.
