View Full Version : subversion 1.1.4 or 1.2

Or more specifically, I'd like to see the requisite versions of the relevant swig and apache packages backported so that 1.1.4 or 1.2 could be built on ubuntu. My situation is this: I'm using eclipse + subclipse. The most recent versions of subclipse require subversion 1.2. The debian package of subversion 1.2 won't build on ubuntu because it needs fresher versions of its dependencies. Hence, I'm stuck on an older buggier version of subclipse.

If there's a better place to make this request, please let me know.

Yep ... I have exactly the same problem. Not helped by the fact that the guy who has been supplying the JavaSVN library as a work-around seems to be awol.

Note that the next release of Subclipse is planned to drop on top of Subversion 1.2.1 which is due this weekend.
