i am looking for reasonably comprehensive documentation on mod_evasive. the site responsible for this apache mod seems to have very little to offer as far as thorough documentation goes. web searches yield a smattering of forum posts, brief how-tos, tiny little caveat threads...that sort of thing. nothing really all that useful. we are working with installing this mod on drake, and it is causing rampant 403 errors for some legitimate users. i am also concerned about inadvertently blocking search engines. it seems to me that if this mod is not configured properly it can cause more harm than good. anyone?
