I have need for documentation on using UBUNTU I downloaded both Edgy and Fiesty have only attempted a boot from CD with Fiesty. I started to do a install to HD but had to stop -- being as I see no documentation available for the Distribution it was a total waste of the programmers time as well as mine.
I support all programmers financially that give me documentation with their creations to explain how to customize the software to meet my shortcomings.
If you can direct me to a URL to get some readable documentation pertaining to screen and fnt settings; it will be greatly appreciated.
Hopefully, this is not a Distribution for the younger Christians only being as the 38 on the end of my user name is the year I was born...

Hi Butch38,
I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty to increase the font of my reply for you. :)
Here are a few URL's that may be of use to you:

I hope I haven't given you too many choices, but I think if you start with the first one, that might get you pointed in the right direction.
Welcome to Ubuntu and I hope it is a pleasureable experience for you!
God Bless,

Well I went out and picked up a copy of "The Official Ubuntu Book" at the Local Barnes & Noble.
I do thank you again for your response.

I may do the same, as I'm fairly new to Ubuntu & Linux in general (6 months of usage now).
I would like to learn even more, as I have learned a lot just on the forums and the wiki.
God Bless,
Randy

Thanks for the response.
Having visual impairment called Glaucoma; I know I need to make my installation on a partition on my hard drive so that my adjustments to different things are maintained from one visit to the next.
I totally missed the F5 and other F(keys) on the screen on my first install which brough about the question I first posted because of my lack of peripheal vision & haste....
I can't really see here what I am typing but don't know how to make it bigger --

There are two things that you can do right away to help your situation: 1) when in your browser, push the CTRL key and the + key as many times as you like until you get a font you are comfortable with ( push CTRL key and the - key to do the opposite), and 2) you can go to System, Preferences, & Font to pick the font size you would like for most other things.
I hope this helps! :)
God Bless,
Randy
