Every time I try to install Americas Army I get the error
“loki_setup: Read failure on armyops230.tar.bz2”

I ran “chmod 775 armyops230.tar.bz2”
then “sh armyops230.tar.bz2”

then I get

“Verifying archive integrity... All good.”
“Uncompressing ArmyOps 2.3.0 for GNU/Linux....”

I thought It might have been a bad download, tried it again. Md5sum says its good.

It doesn't matter if I run it as root or not.

Any ideas?

Try uncompressing it with the archive manager.

Ok, just tried it in Archive Manager. This is what it said.

tar: Record size = 8 blocks

bzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

Fixed it late last night.

It was something so stupid that I don't really want to tell everyone what it was.

All I am going to say is DO NOT OVERCLOCK YOUR CPU WHEN YOU INSTALL. [-X

Thanks for the help.

I really can't agree with what u say now. My CPU is a 3000+ (1800mhz standard) and it runs on 2430mhz. I don't have problems. When u have problems installing things, it means, ur overclock is stable. So put it a litlle bit back or give ur cpu a bit more voltage (the smallest steps possible).
