View Full Version : Bugs in firefox 1.0.4

I tried to update the firefox extension from Preferences > Advanced > Check For Updates. It used to works, but now it didn't work anymore. :roll:

Honestly I've only found that to work about half the time in the Windows versions (including the current 1.0.4) so I'm not surprised you're having problems.

So, the problem is lied within firefox, not the backports?

But so far I don't face such problem with firefox 1.0.4 in windows.

Is there any solution?

Just an anecdote:

RedHat has REMOVED the update feature altogether in RedHat Enterprise Linux WS's Firefox 1.0.4. It seems like they've learned the lesson :)

The 1.0.4 Firefox updates work fine for me in Gentoo, but not in Kubuntu. Just a little more anecdotal evidence :)
