You can easily change the color scheme of the clearlooks controls.

Open up themes, click customize. on the controls tab, click clearlooks. Then click the color tab , and change the colors of the windows to whatever you want.

Yeah, I was using it, and I didn't realize it was exclusive to feisty. I had a bunch of nvidia driver issues with feisty with no sure solution, so I went back to dapper and went looking for the color tab, only to be disappointed that was none.. :( :(

It is part of GNOME 2.18 , you can recolor any theme not just clearlooks but the theme should use symbolic colors.
