Linux in MAC College in Kosovo

hi everybody ... im student in 3rd grade in high school... i will present linux in MAC College (the best college actually in Kosovo) "Science Fair 2007" ... there will be many project for science , but i chosed linux ... there will be lots of people in that science fair including very important persons like politicans bussinesmans etc. ...
can somebody help me describin linux ? pls

Never the less it depends on what you mean by Linux, because Linux in itself is just a modular monolithic Kernal, while GNU/Linux System describes the Operating system and Ubuntu is a distribution of a GNU/Linux System. Get your wording correct first :)
