Are there any good looking Linux geek; like the ones on the Official Ubuntu CD? Cuz I mean, don't take this the bad way, but you're not very atractive, if I were gay I wouldn't date you  , in fact I wouldn't date my self. But is there a chance that theres a hot linux geek chick; or guy (from the ladies point of view)? Or all the Linux geeks and/or users are doomed to be ugly?

That is cool. Kids using Linux is a good idea. In the US, windows seems to be the only thing going in schools now from what I can see except for some old schoolers still using macs. (nothing against macs, it just seems that their days in schools are about over).

My wife is hot. The day I showed her linux, she said it was faster than windows. Thats all we use. So, I guess you can count her in.
My oldest daughter is three and has been using Tuxpaint for several months. She also loves Lletters and Lmemory. She knows where all the keys are and can figure things our like Undo and Save. I will get her into Kturtle, soon, too.
I guess it is like language. Kids pick it up easily.

Picture of me holding Robotics trophies after winning the USFIRST Detroit Regional. Go us.... (Team 245, Adam-Bots)
I really needed sleep that day.... The night before, I spent hacking Cygwin to the point where it's a usable Linux-style environment.
P.S. The grey-shirt guy in the back was a clueless tech for Microchip, Inc. His faulty radio setup costed us one match... The ONLY match until the nationals where we lost.... (profanities)

That's me back in '77. Me and Paul Allen got arrested when we broke into the MITS offices in New Mexico, stole some code off their Altair 8800's, and re-licensed it as BASIC. It was my first exposure to how real businessman can make a small fortune, and create an empire from it.

It was only later on after that little photo op that Billy would learn the error of his breaking and entering ways - making a plea to all young coders and codettes to only go down the straight and narrow path....
The best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - William Henry Gates III, KBE
