I've got a 80211.b router at home, and I've currently got it set to not broadcast its essid. Is there a way to force gtkwifi to find it and log on successfully? so far, the closest I can get with gtkwifi, wifi-radar or any other means short of manually iwconfig'ing things is that the applet can find the router but cannot successfully get an ip address.
The card is working fine, etc.

excuse me while I reply to myself. I realized that 4 in the morning is a seriously incoherent time to post a question. :-)
In any case, what I was looking for was a way to manage AP's that do not broadcast their essid's, and therefore require manual entry of all parameters. Currently, the only things you can set with gtk-wifi is WEP keys for AP's that can be scanned by the application/iwlist/etc.
I saw in the forums that this feature was slated for v1.10 of gtk-wifi, so I guess I'm gonna wait as patiently as a frustrated geek can.
Thanks!

Where did you read this? I can't seem to find the reference.
