All it really is is Ubuntu with a heavy-duty content filtering program built it.

Apologies if I'm wrong, but sounds to me like the original poster is trying to troll. Best not to feed him. :)

Well then, we'd best not show him this (http://gaybuntu.com/)! Eh, feed the troll, who cares? I love that Ubuntu is the distro of choice for community life! That's really saying something. Besides, who knows who might find that link useful?

I kind of thought it was a lame idea when I first saw it. I don't really care though.

I'm not trying to troll. I figured that this would be some kind of heavy duty content filter. What apps does it filter if so? (you piqued my interest now).

Actually there was some information about it on Extremetech.com it didn't really have that many differences from what I remember, but it had gnome sword in there by defualt (a bible reading software) and i guess it has some filtering software for websites?
