After switching from Edgy to Feisty the blur plugin for Beryl appears to be broken. I'm using a notebook with an Intel 855 graphics card.
I've tried both the packages in Universe as well as those in the Beryl repository. I've tried using them out of the box and I've tried following both the Edgy and Feisty HOWTO's on beryl-project.org (http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/Install_Beryl_on_Ubuntu_Feisty_with_AIGLX and http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/Install_Beryl_on_Ubuntu_Edgy_with_AIGLX). No luck.
I believe I read somewhere that the AIGLX code has been moved around between the kernel versions used in Edgy and Feisty. Could this be what is causing the "regression"?
Any ideas on how to determine the cause of this problem, or how to fix it, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Daan
