I don't recommend 7.04 with any thing less than 512 megs or ram. Because 7.04 is just too powerful for any thing less. I tried on one of my laptops with only 384 megs and it chokes and gives me two i/o error codes that keeps changing every time I restart the o.s. the i/o error codes change. Please stick with something like 512 megs or better. The first two times that I loaded the O.S. it gave me a double side by side of the same page. In safe mode it works but it takes nearly forever to load.

I wouldn't see why Feisty would give error messages for just having low memory levels, would it not just use the swap alot more?
Maybe you have memory or disk errors (on the swap partition)?!
