missing maps for Open Arena

I am missing many maps for Open Arena. Other than that, the game plays really great in Ubuntu. Some servers I can not join because I am missing maps. Sometimes I will be playing on a server, the map changes, but I do not have it, and therefor I can't continue to play on that server. I tried copying pak files from Quake 3 to my baseoa directory for Open Arena, but that did not make any difference. Please help.

What you need to do is enable automatic downloading of missing maps. From the main OpenArena menu, go to Setup -> Game Options and enable it.
