Oh no! My Ubuntu 7.04 randomly froze for the first time a few hours ago and when it boots it doesn't go past "Loading manual drivers" The last thing I was doing was to install the sensors package. :( Is there anyway to recover my music collection from Mac OS X (How to mount EXT3 partions??) :(

With MacFuse (http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/) you should be able to read ext3 file systems, but you could also use the Ubuntu LiveCD to backup your data to an external HDD/network share if available.

Great I now have a app that can't be removed and doesn't do anything.

Hi where did you get the PPC version of 7.0.4 ? I have been looking for it all day and looks like none of the mirrors have it. The mirrors have the x86 and even sparc but no PPC. Thanks for the info

To answer my own question:

http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/feisty/release/

It is still surprising that I cant find the release on any of the mirrors. Go figure..
