A user by the name of Peter1234123 (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=255403) started a thread called Tutorial, OSX for KDE (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=406340)
His initial first post (the actual tutorial) has however vanished into thin air and according to him it was removed by a mod, I know a user cannot delete posts so it must be a mod/staff. My response to this has now become post#1I
I cannot find it in the tips & tutorials section so I assume it was deleted. Could someone please elaborate as to why it was deleted/removed ???

It most likely has been deleted, or made invisible.
I've never seen this problem in vBulletin, although there was once a brief problem with posts becoming unordered...

Found it.
For Staff, it is located in the Jail here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=406846
It was removed because of its doubtful legality.

It was removed because of its doubtful legality.
From what I recall it was a simple guide to install Baghira and a few other Open Source things to make KDE look like Mac OSX which there has been guides of before. The installs were from SVN
It has actually nothing to do with OSX or prop. copyrighted software. No links to any apple stuff or anything remotely illegal.
I think someone might have been confused ?

I wasn't the jailing mod.
However I hope the following quote from the guide: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU DO WITH THIS, NOR AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LEGAL ACTION TAKEN BY APPLE.lets you see the mod's thoughts when he saw this.
I still don't know myself without a little researching whether it is illegal or not.
EDIT - I've just done a little researching and it seems its only an imitation of looks... I'll move the post back.

Maybe he was referring to not being responsible if you stuff up your pc. Why he has the apple legal thing there I dunno, unless he thinks there might be a legal issue if it 'looks' like OSX. But then again there are other tutorials on this forum about Baghira and making KDE look like OSX.

Post returned.
@ubuntu-geek: "edit thread" showing the thread's history is pretty useful :)
