For a while now, apparently us.archive.ubuntu.com was having difficulties and the advice was to change all occurances of us.archive.ubuntu.com to just archive ubuntu.com (s/us.a/a/g) in /etc/apt/sources.list.

Well, at least for me, it appears that us.archive.ubuntu.com is working again, and consistently.

Feel free to change yours back and give it a try. :)

Heh. I think I'll wait a bit and see if it holds... :)

Apparently ca.archive.ubuntu.com is the same machine as us.archive.ubuntu.com, so should be working now too.

(And yes, it's been working fine for hours now; I've been using it heavily.)

IRC reports still not working. I don't trust the US archives yet.
