I think it would be nice to use those integrated webcams that are not used very often to adjust the screen lcd.
Remember those late nights when you get on your computer and the LCD brightness people can see your head glowing pink from behind? I hate that. Mac solved this issue by using a sensor that checks the brightness in the room and dimming the screens lcd accordingly. Goodness, wouldn't that be nice?!
Well we could use the webcam to read the brightness in the room and then if the room dims so does the lcd, automatically. Oh Boy, PLEASE support the idea! I would love to see it happen.
I want to program it myself, but with GSoC I will be far to busy. If it isn't in by the time I am done... of course I will start on it. But want it now! Lets get crackin!:guitar:
