nautilus CD writer won't work

Hi I can't get it to write an iso image, I right click on the iso and click write to disk... Then my USB burner shows up in the list and I click "write"
Now it just sits there saying preparing to write to disk and it just sits there for hours. any ideas?? thanks in advance

This will be fixed soon, since it's already fixed in upstream. In Ubuntu Bugzilla are some bug reports you can find about this topic.

You probably could burn if you disconnected your read-only drives, but I guess that's not an option...
