RHEL -> CentOS
SLED -> ????
Does anything exist that takes SLED source and redistributes it?

SLED -> OpenSuse? I'm not sure those are as far apart as Fedora/RHEL are. And there were a few SLED clones around (i forget their names), but none stuck, so I again am left to assume that SLED and OpenSuse are very close and a clone isn't worth the effort.

Eh, about as similar as Fedora/Red Hat. openSuSE proves to be unstable in some instances, and generally lacks the polish of SLED.
