Step 1: Go here (http://www.fileplanet.com/124801/120000/fileinfo/Return-to-Castle-Wolfenstein:-Enemy-Territory-Client-v2.60-%5BLinux%5D) and download the client for linux
Step 2: Go to the directory you saved the download at and execute the file
Step 3: Configure the setup program as you see fit (I installed wolfet in my home directory)
Step 4: Run the game from the directory you chose to install it in.
Step 5: Work out all the kinks as you come across them
Best of luck.

ammedment to redhaz.
step one. download (example something.run) If file is *.bz or *.zip or etc you must uncompress/extract first.
step two. Change the mode of file to executable by..... chmod 777 something.run
step three. execute file by first changing into that directory and then ./something.run
The rest you will figure out.
