red eye removal?

I still use Paint Shop Pro 8 in Windows for red eye removal. It uses a semi color matched stamp to overwrite the eye. Is there a similar open source product that I can use?

I have never used Paint Shop Pro so I don't know if they are similar but you can use the GIMP (which is open source) to remove red eye

I just used this http://www.gimpguru.org/Tutorials/RedEye2/ to remove some red eye and it worked well.
