Hi, can somebody make or link to a step to step guide for beginner about making ubuntu 7.04 (gnome) like Mac OS X? I've seen many screenshots and tried to follow one guide but without success. Please help me out here. Any help is appreciated.

How exactly are you trying to make it more OS X like? Do you mean things like icons and title bars?

I mean like the design, the desktop :P, I've seen screenshots that they use Ubuntu(gnome) and making it look like os x in desktop. The bar down that is unique to mac and the theme etc.

There is an OSX icon theme here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/OSX?content=31618
To install an icon theme, go to System->Preferences->Theme->Theme Details->Icons and drag the .tar.gz file into the Icon window. You can delete the tar.gz file from the desktop when you are done.
There is an OSX metacity theme available here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=35753
To install that, select Window Border from the Theme Details window and drop the tar.gz file into it.
For wallpapers, I suggest that you browse around here: http://www.gnome-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=170x171x172x173x174

Well, I'm sure that there are other options out there, but I had one of those launcher bars at one point which worked just like that. It was a desklet that came with the gDesklets program. Unfortunately, I had to switch it off as it was very CPU intensive.
