What is this cspan command ? Most of the posts I have read in relation to installing perl modules say things like "just type cspan at your prompt and all your module problems will be over" Ok, well I have typed 'cspan' @ the command prompt - nothing happens. Searched the repositories, no good.
I have been searching for PM installation and other related queries, in all the usual places, for about an hour, I'm tired and gotta work in the morning, so if no-ones kind enough to answer this post till next time I get to it I'll be ready for another bout.

Edgy Eft

Thanks, cascader
BTW, don't worry about any OT advice, just want to really get down to installing these modules.

It's cpan. Try man cpan for more information. CPAN is the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network (http://www.cpan.org/).

cpan is perl module manager which will search, download and install perl modules. Do you use Perl? Best Perl forum is perlmonks. But for new development I would recommend Python over perl, unless your company is standardized on Perl.
