I would love to see a Ubuntu version of the Novell Linux Desktop Decal Kit (http://www.novell.com/products/desktop/decalkit.html).

I imagine this would be quite popular considering the rapid market share that Ubuntu has received in just a short time.

One of the first things I did when I got my laptop was to pull off that stupid Windows XP sticker.... I'll third, fourth or fifth this one!

good idea but ill stick with my custom ubuntu case badge... (yes its laser etched..)..

Did you get it off without damaging the material beneath? I have found those stickers nearly imposible to remove without damaging the equipment.

Yes, but they don't look nearly as professional/refined as the ones that Novell created. I wonder if Mark Shuttleworth would be interested in adding these to the cd requesting stuff. Does he read these forums?

Why not integrate the Ubuntu decal into the cd booklet that holds each cd? It doesn't need to have metal in it like the Windows badges... just something about the same size that can be place over them or in the same place.

Maybe even make them something that can be purchased in bulk for system builders?

hmm guess i need a digital cam ehh? anyway check ebay the guy may be selling them again but idk. it was the laptop edition and there were 4 so i bought them lol they were 2 bucks a pop how could i resist lol. anyway its a simple light / tan brown square with a white stripe through the middle with ubuntu in its font and blue with the logo to the left of it. also as you get to the stripe there are lots of small black lines that run through it....
