Just read this bit about Kathy Sierra getting death threats on her blog (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/03/29/MNGT3OTVAO1.DTL).

That's pretty scary stuff.

I will keep to the advice in the blog, I hate bullying and bullies of all description and tone. and it does offend me personally and I will state as much when ever I see such behaviour in any of the communities I'm a part of.

in my experience. both genders do it....it just that after bloody long time since the jungles we men still venture out on sorties and our lovley wives, sisters and daughters collect in packs.

my point is that the mysandery isnt as obvious as the mysogney becuase of this.

hope she gets some piece and quite... web gurus that have been in the game this long are invaluable, espically the community garnering type.

Darling, I don't believe anyone was claiming that this only happens to women. It just happened to be that an event happened to a woman in the Ubuntu Community. :)
