Help With CSS

ok guys heres the problem....i downloaded steam and Css no problem and a new video driver for my NVIDIA Geforce 5200. when i load up CSS it runs fun and when i enter a game im averaging about 15 fps....before i switched to linux i was averaging 75-100 fps can you tell me the problem and how to fix it?

can you report a few lines of glxgears and post your glxinfo.

i dont run it from terminal i run it from steam in the wine folder
