Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie to ubuntu and I'd like to make it my default OS since I'm impressed by the performances.
In order to do that I need to install grass and qgis on my machine, running ubuntu 64bit.
I checked around but I didn't understand the instruction I gathered from the internet.
When I try to install grass using terminal and "sudo" command I get an arror message saying that some lib are missing libgdal-1.4.0 and libpq 5 and I don't know where to find them and how to install.
I also tried to install qgis from Add/remove software in ubuntu and I get an error message saying that some software conflict is happening and that I have to use an advanced mode to solve it.
Any help is welcome
Thanks
Luca
