Hyperlink in signature

I am trying to insert a hyperlink into my signature but it says that HTML is not allowed.
Does anyone know how I can do this?

where the curl brackets are replaced with regular brackets

it's not HTML. it's a different type of coding. Do exactly what dbbolton showed, but instead of { use [
