Hi all!

Don't know if this is the place top put this post but ... I'll give it a go.

I'm trying to help a relative get a computer up and running (he's got an old win95 and I'd really love to give him something new to play with) and I've almost convinced him to try out linux. The only thing (at this moment) that might hold him back is the fact that I can't seem to find any Bridge Game workin in Linux. I could try some through wine but I'd really love to show him something made for Linux ... so ... does anyone know if there is a good working Bridge Game for Linux?

I don't know how to play Bridge so can't try it out and say if it's any good ... but he is a pretty good cardplayer and he's been an active Bridge-player for as long as I can remember (and I've know him to play bridge as far back as the 80's so he's probobly been at it since the 60's :) ). Any bridge-player who can set me off in the right direction? All google gives me is win-games and all I found on sourceforge is this (http://sourceforge.net/projects/handgenerator/) and this (http://sourceforge.net/projects/pybridge).

Any ideas?

The Linux Game Tome (http://www.happypenguin.org/) turned up aBridge (http://www.abridgegame.org/) which might work but sadly is abandoned and only includes a very simple AI with the focus on online play.

It also found GGZCards (http://www.ggzgamingzone.org/games/ggzcards/) which is part of the GGZ Gaming Zone. It seems more promising as it is maintained but that obviously is also mostly focused on online play. It *does* have AI so maybe that would fit the bill. :)
