I want to localize ubuntu to my language. I checked out the loco teams section. there is no team for the language(Marathi) to which I want to localize and possibly customize to my tastes.

However, I do not have the time to start and run a loco team at this moment.

What are my options?

Is there any CVS repo that I can check out and work on? Also, where exactly is the Gnome CVS repository?

Once I have done a few translations for Tamil. For example visit this page https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/dapper/+source/gnome-panel/+pots/gnome-panel-2.0/mr/+translate for Marathi translation for gnome-panel in Ubuntu 6.06. Hope from there you will find link for other applications also. Create login if you don't have already.
