good bibtex guide?

Hello!

I am usually using Latex, and I am quite fine with it, but I could really use a good bibtex guide.
Especially one that list all the cite options and commands for all the different *bibs.
Does anyone one of such a document?

I've searched the net already in vain, but I've come across this forum just now.

If you want author-year citations (Smith et al, 2009), then natbib is a really great package, and comes with nice notes (natnotes). This is part of telive or tetex.

@xadder:Thanks. I am using natbib, but I didn't know about natnotes.

So far I have been trying out all .sty I had downloaded, just to see, which one fits best the regulations of the department I had to hand the paper into (and since I am doing interdisciplinary studies, these are at times four different sets of regulations), and then change all the cite commands around, so that they also fit...

But those days are over now!
