According to the website of this fellow Debian distro:

"Libranet is sad to inform you that its founder and President, Jon Danzig, passed away this morning."

Libranet is an old Debian based distro that has done a lot to scrub the edges off of Debian for regular users. Before Ubuntu I used Libranet, and I am sadded to hear that its creator is no more. Rest in peace.

NOTE: please don't post any anti-Libranet stuff. Or anti-Ubuntu stuff.

I think before it was a three person effort.

i really don't understand the projects in which only one or two people do the development... it leaves the users to rot if they stop, by their own decision or acts of [whatever supreme power you beleive in]

A rough year for Linux distro managers, Peter V. (of Slackware) mystey illness and now this.

My thought go out to the family.

Ditto. It was a rough year.

It's a good distrobution, lets hope it stays that way.

My prayers are with his family.

Why did he die from, I know he's been sick for awhile, but i just can't find what it was.
