I have a dell inspiron 5150. The wireless card is a bcm4309. Which has been labled as being unstable.

I have this card running, seeing networks. but won't connect. So I am thowing in the towel and I need to know what pcima wireless cards work.

Throwing my 2 cents in. I have an integrated intel wireless card and it works like a charm. You might want to see if their PCMIA cards are also good.

I found that my Dell wireless card with the bcm4309 chip can and will work with the bcm4318 drivers.

I now have a laptop that is 100% Ubuntu and no M$ :)

I've had good luck with Intel wireless, too. It is working perfectly in a couple of my laptops. Trying to get the cards with the BCM chip to work has been a chore. Hope the new distro resolves some of those problems. I'm using the beta and it's working fine with the Intel chip. I'm not ambitious enough to try it with the BCM cards.

I was very pleased to find the BCM4318 worked with my card and I have full use of the card in a/b/g mode it would seem.

The problem with 6.10 is the printer driver will not load. I have yet to try 6.07 beta.
