my stopmotion program stoped working can some body help?

well this was my first post so sorry but i have stopmotion on my comp and when i try to load it it appears for a sec and then disappears. i tried reinstating it but that did not work.

try starting it from the console and see if any message is printed there (it might give some hints about why the program terminates)

edit: this thread probably doesn't belong in this forum by the way

The same thing just happened to me. Is there a fix for this?

Stopmotion stoped working for me also. When i open it in a terminal i get this output.

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I installed the new version here (http://developer.skolelinux.no/info/studentgrupper/2005-hig-stopmotion/index.php?side=3) and it fixed it and added a gimp option.
